MelRose grew up on the outskirts of Chicago. A curiosity for different cultures and cuisines led her to New York City for college, where she explored the city’s many unique neighborhoods. During her time at Fordham University, MelRose interned with Teuwen Communications, where her interest and enthusiasm for wine and spirits budded. A continued thirst for new experiences spurred her to study in Copenhagen. During her time abroad, she traveled throughout Europe visiting vineyards in various regions, further educating herself on the world of wine.

MelRose grew her PR experience at travel and lifestyle firms working with travel, hospitality and food clients—from The Wigwam Resort to Drizly and illy. Ultimately her passion for wine and spirits brought her back to Teuwen Communications in 2021.
