A native New Yorker, Jen was born and raised in Queens, where she spent a good deal of time feasting at her Chinese grandparents’ dinner table. Growing up in the diverse borough, she enjoyed the cuisines of the different neighborhoods, which included Indian, Korean, and Italian. Eventually, a love for writing led Jen to Syracuse University, where she studied journalism at the Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Jen’s passion for food landed her a publicist role at Workman Publishing, in the cookbook division. From there, she set her sights on restaurant PR, working with top chefs and sommeliers around the city. Over the last decade and a half, Jen has discovered an affinity for spirits and wine and has worked Hendrick’s Gin, The GlenDronach, LiveWire and many others. She specializes in media and trade relations, and enjoys meeting and working with creative and talented bartenders around the country.
Jen resides in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two young sons. When she’s not telling clients’ stories, she can be found cooking, running, or enjoying a cocktail (or two).
